The whimsical adventures of a flea market proprietor in Mississippi

In Loving Memory Catherine Brent Lentz (Miss Kitty) 12/3/1919-2/23/2011 March 26, 2011

Probably the best way to let you have a peak at what this dear lady meant to me is to notice it has taken me a month to even write this.  Miss Kitty was like a mother to me.  What a priviledge Charles and I have had these last 20+ years to have her an active part of our life.  To say  you simply were reminded of Jesus in her presence is no exaggeration.  Joy overflowing was my first thought at knowing she had taken her heavenly journey.  She was looking forward to the move but oh, how those of us who knew her feel an emptiness when we realize her physical presence on earth is no more.  How fitting that her last spoken words were to her grandchildren as she departed for surgery, “Remember Jesus is in control.  No need to worry!”

Probably the most I can say regarding the last 20+ years of my life that this lady has been like a mother to me is that it's taken me this month to be able to adjust enough to write this. How thrilled I am that she was able to take her heavenly journey but oh, what a void is left in the lives of all of us her Christian love touched.
